<p>To see the colours, this huge moth had to be flapping its wings. When it was still, it was a drab brown and camouflaged like a leaf or bark</p>

<p>A high-speed, scuttling, random bug found while out repairing trail. The body is about 4cm long. Note the typical Nerang trail litter!</p>

<p>These guys seem to be far more active in the hotter months of the year. We came across a lot of other lizards the week this photo was taken, but not as chilled as this one</p>

<p>We came across this little guy pulling his cacoon along the trail, so we helped him out and placed him just off the trail so he wouldn't get squashed by a tyre</p>

<p>We came across this interesting looking caterpillar while trimming the trail corridor in an effort to create safe sight lines</p>

<p>An insect that kept landing on these shoes; I think he liked the dots on the straps</p>
