Some things never change - Ash with his "Precious" shovel
We want this tree to move a little downhill Bright light to start a day of building We left off here. The fallen tree in the distance was our concern Start of the cut One two one two Starting to angle the cut down and around Working around the Cut is now 90 degrees off the original line Almost finished the big cut Time to take the lower handle off and remove the big saw Time for a wedge Starting the final upward cut And so it fell, just as requested Looks little, but this was a tough sucka to remove A tough little stump Some things never change - Ash with his Afternoon is the best time to dig on Three Hills Here's a scenic line New trail line around the angled tree A nice log to sit on above the trail Upslope will be extended and tread will be lowered to get this section right Not complete, but starting to take shape The line is clear now A clear line now after lots of fallen and damaged trees were removed An open line Past the black stump is hill three
