It seems that the lizards are becoming very active within the park.

One of our volunteers Bruno saw this lizard while out riding today.

Last Friday another volunteer (Michael) and I came across another lizard burying it's eggs along side the trail.

Because this spot was close to an existing large stone corral point we decided to slightly shift the large stone inwards on the trail to ensure no tyres will roll over the spot that the lizard had chosen to lay it's eggs.

The park is the lizards home first and not our playground, so they must come first.

Early last week my workplace was also visited by a lizard. (Two streets away from the park)

If you ride Nerang in the near future try to keep an eye out and you may just see a lizard.
