It's still really wet.  I haven't seen such sodden ground in the last 5 years, not even after heavier rain.  Maybe all the subsoil channels have become larger due to soil contraction through the dry months last year?  I guess it doesn't matter - it is still far to wet to walk, ride or work on the trails.  

Here are a couple of pics from Casuarina.  With all the blue metal on this trail, it is more stable than Pete's, but will still require revision works.

Our trail closures were ridden down.  It is hard to understand, but no surprise anymore I guess.  We made the closures more obvious.  Fingers crossed this does not lead to new shortcuts that need repairing as well.
