MTB Trailcare

Next weekend we will start working on the new start to Casuarina and Three Hills near the velodrome.  Part of the trail vandalism has been removal of our previously flagged lines.  They are saved on GPS of course, but it takes time getting the details right.  Therefore we replaced a section of flagging ribbon on Saturday afternoon.  Hopefully it will still be there when we return with the tools.  This time we have recent memories, so it is less of an issue if they are pulled down again.

Here are some pics of the sort of country this trail will run through.  It looks a lot better than views of fire road, mutiple eroded trail braids and the Scout Hall.

On Sunday morning we joined a large group of riders from all over northern NSW and SE Qld at the Woodland Trails on private property near Muwillumbah.  It was a really fun morning.  The trails offer great variaty in a small area and have been made very well by Michael, the property owner.  Here's one pic from a bit of fun jump sessioning at the end of the ride.  Pretty place.
